Meet the security needs in the transportation market with Bosch

26 September 2011, Jakarta: Bosch Security Systems showed key industry players how Bosch is able to meet the security needs in the transportation market, and impressed many with its outstanding technology. The event was attended by more than 200 people, which included various government officials as well as representatives from the airport, seaport and railway sector.

Bosch’s system engineer Erik Ong shared various case studies with the audience, and emphasized the importance of having an efficient security system to meet high security standards in places like airports.

Guest speaker Dr. Achmadi, SH, MAP as Komisaris Besar Polisi (Police Department) explained the needs of the safety in the transportation sector. He said: “It’s one of the human rights for everyone to feel safe wherever they are, and here in Indonesia we need more than security that protects the transportation user but also to give them the comfortable feeling when they’re in it, and, that’s why airport, train station, and seaport should be fully protected.”

Bosch further shared with the audience how intelligent systems like the Building Integration System (BIS), BVMS (Bosch Video Management System) work to combine all devices into one platform in an easy and practical manner. Many were amazed when Bosch introduced the Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) and were highly intrigued by IVA’s outstanding capability to analyze moving objects.

During the event, Bosch successfully raised awareness about the importance of security and safety in the transportation market and was able to prove how Bosch can provide the exact result to the expectations of the end-user.
